Our History
For over 50 years, E&E has served its world-class customers by manufacturing heavy gage stamped metal fasteners, progressive die metal stampings, and high value added assemblies.
1962
E&E started business in a 5,000 square foot building now absorbed into the Plymouth campus producing automotive stampings with presses up to 300 tons.
1978
Patented the conical moated weld nut. It became an industry standard and is now in the GM standard fastener catalog. We became a Tier One supplier to GM
1990
Focused on a strategic initiative to become an “Engineered Solutions Provider”. We opened a technical center focused on R&D, Product Development and Prototyping. We also began producing deep drawn structural extrusions.
2003
We received the MIOSHA Star Award for our employee safety program.
2004/5
We opened facilities in Athens, Tennessee to meet growing customer needs. We achieved A2LA Accreditation at E&E .
2011
E&E commissioned the first of two state of the art Servo Presses.
2012
Expanded our expertise in high strength steel and aluminum.
2017
We have targeted our future growth in the area of complex assemblies and vertical integration.
